Cited Score
How often AI engines cite and name a company
Each scan asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini a category’s buyer questions three times each. The score is 70% being cited as a source and 30% being named, out of 100. The companies below are published examples: each is one dated snapshot, not a continuous track.
Published snapshots
A dash means the snapshot was withheld: at least one engine answered too few questions for a fair score. The page explains which.
Category leaderboards
Which companies the engines name and cite when buyers ask for a recommendation in each category.
The full method (the questions, the model versions, when a score is withheld, and a dated log of every change) is at methodology. Why one engine’s answer is not a proxy for the others is at engine citation overlap. What Claude does when it chooses not to search is in Claude answers payments questions from memory.
