Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your AI visibility
The Cited connector lets AI assistants read Cited’s measurements directly. Ask “who does ChatGPT recommend instead of us?” or “which questions are we absent from on Perplexity?” and get answers from your real, dated data. Read-only: it can’t change anything or run scans.

What it can do
List measured categoriespublicList the B2B categories Cited has published AI visibility measurements for (e.g. payments APIs, cyber insurance), with the date of each category's latest snapshot and its leaderboard link. Use this first to find a category key for get_leaderboard.
Category leaderboardpublicWhich companies ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini name most often when buyers ask for recommendations in a category, from Cited's latest published snapshot: share of answers, answers per engine, and how many engines name each company.
Published Cited ScorepublicA company's published Cited Score (0-100: 70% how often AI engines cite its website as a source, 30% how often they name it), per-engine results, the companies named instead, and the snapshot date. Works for companies Cited has published; otherwise says it is not measured yet.
How the Cited Score is measuredpublicHow Cited measures AI visibility: the questions, engines, runs, scoring weights, when a score is withheld, and what 'cited' versus 'named' mean. Use it to explain or caveat any number.
My tracked companiesyour accountThe companies the signed-in Cited customer tracks (for agencies, their client brands), each with its current Cited Score, category and last measurement date. Requires signing in to Cited.
Full AI visibility reportyour accountThe full private report for one of the signed-in customer's companies: score and per-engine cited/named rates, score history, every buyer question with each engine's result, companies named instead, the sources the engines relied on, and (if Google Analytics is connected) visits sent by AI assistants. Requires signing in to Cited.
Stored AI answersyour accountThe actual answers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini gave to a buyer question in the latest scan for one of the signed-in customer's companies, with whether the company was cited or named and the sources used. Filter by question text and engine. Requires signing in to Cited.
Signing in uses your usual Cited email link and a one-time approval. The assistant sees exactly what your dashboard shows that email, nothing more, and you can disconnect it at any time from your dashboard. Agency client logins see their one company only. Method and caveats: methodology. Privacy: privacy policy.
